1968 Olds 442 or what happens to a 16 year old transkit

All pictures here: http://s21.photobucket.com/albums/b262/mkowa/Models/Muscle/1968%20Olds%20442-%20Resin%20transkit%20from%201995/

I found this the other night, I remember building it in the winter of '94-95 and plced it in a clear plastic container. The paint is Testors enamel, the resin transkit, well, it's so long ago I don't remember! The hood which was very thick but at one time laid nicely in the 69 AMT Olds 442 engine bay, has sagged in the center. Where I'd laid ans smoothed Green Putty into the recesses of the 69 olds, they have enlarged and blistered. I played with the hood last night under hot water and got it to the way it is photographed today...it was MUCH worse!

The transkit included the resin hood, front and rear chromed bumpers and it did have the side fender stripes which I found still on the cardboard in the display case. Now, Do I want to see if I cna retrieve this and start twisting the hood under warm water again? Do I want to rebuild the rear trunk area where the old green putty blistered? Do I want to just leave it alone? I still have HUNDREDS of that old enamel Testors style paint...I just don't know!
