Probably posting in wrong place but I thought I might get more responses here.
I am designing and building my own 1/24 scale engine.
My distribution block design is 3mm X 3mm X 5mm tall. I designed it this way to be able to get the fittings to fit properly. As we all know, everything works and looks good on paper, right?
So I am using DetailMaster #1 fittings, with the .022" I.D., for the .020" fuel and nitrous lines. The smallest of the DM fittings and lines. When the fittings are grouped together, (as shown in my drawing), they touch each other. They still look good and are able to work that way. However, my distribution block is half the height of my blower!
The blower scale is correct. The fittings are scale correct, I guess. But to make this work, the scale of the distribution block works out to be 2-3/4 inches by 2-3/4 inches square, and almost 4 inches tall.Is any distribution block that big??? Because when it sits beside the blower, it looks way too big to be in scale. Is this something I just have to deal with?
Any help or advice would greatly appreciated. Thanks, Craig.
